You can find beauty in it, and you can get better. No matter how bad things go, no matter how dark your life is, there is a reason for it. To show people that no matter what, they matter, and they can succeed. ![]() “ I believe my purpose is to bring joy to people, to make them laugh, and to share my story to help them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Haddish told her story to a co-writer who transcribed everything and helped edit it to make it into a cohesive book. The book feels very conversational and works perfectly as an audiobook. For example, one section of the book may be about her dating life starting from a young age to the present time and the next chapter will be about her career from the beginning to the present. In The Last Black Unicorn, Tiffany Haddish tells her life story, but rather being told in chronological order as per tradition, she tells it by topic. Though there’s laughter throughout, there are some serious moments in the book as well, owed to Haddish’s rocky life. The book, though, is definitely funny, one of the funniest reads I’ve had. Some people think Tiffany Haddish is funny and some don’t. ![]()
